Well I got my copy of The Confessor’s Tale buy it here! So there’s only one pre-written work to put out there and that’s last year’s NaNoWriMo project Figure of the Sorcechanic. Then I will actually have to write some stuff to publish more.

When FotS goes live I’m taking away my Downloads page because there, well, won’t be any more downloads. Instead I plan to put up an “Obtain” link to use as a sort of shopfront. My plan is to start a new bank account, very basic, and to keep royalty payments from the books in there.

I am in sympathy with a few other artists around in the world in feeling that making money from art is kind of crass. I have a PGCE and if I wanted paid time off to write novels (at a proven rate of 10,000 words a day) then I could go back to the world of teaching really. I want to cover my costs but after that’s done the rest of the money could be better spent teaching children to read or providing the poor with the means to take care of themselves at a standard we take too much for granted or whatever.

In the meanwhile have a look at the classic Broken Saints website above, look at the possibility of buying the stunning 4-disc DVD set under that link and if that’s not enough of a head wrecker maybe you could do with a copy of The Confessor’s Tale. And if that’s not enough head food for you then you really need to get out for a nice walk. Go stare at a leaf on a tree for a few hours or somesuch…
